OmniGraffle Pro for iOS Download: Key Features and Updates

In this latest release of OmniGraffle Pro, we have made significant changes to the alignment, grid, and layout features. One notable change is that the template has been converted from a bundle to flat XML format, resulting in a smaller file size.

The iPhone template has also undergone a makeover, with the OmniGraffle drawing tools used to recreate it instead of importing PNGs. This has allowed for greater control over the design and reduced the file size even further.

Another key feature is the addition of Sitemap, Persona, and Mental Model examples, which can be accessed through the sample deliverable provided. These templates are designed to help you create wireframes that are easy to navigate and understand.

To give you more flexibility when working with grids, we have also fixed grid settings on all pages. If you want to hide these from your exported document, simply hide the column number shared layer.

For those who are new to OmniGraffle, it's worth noting that guides can be turned on to show guide lines for each of the columns. This can help you align objects accurately and create a professional-looking design.

If you're wondering what the numbers above the wireframes refer to, they are column numbers for a 24-column grid. This allows you to easily work with different layouts and designs.

Some users may encounter issues opening this file in OmniGraffle 4.x. If this is the case, please note that this file was saved in OmniGraffle 5, but it should be possible to open it in OG 4 by renaming the extension.

This template is designed for projecting on screen and printing on 11x17 paper. Your document will now print at the right scale for whatever paper size you use. You can also choose to print one canvas per sheet or scale to fit across sheets if your page setup is smaller than your canvas.

When printing, be sure to select the Paper Handling options from the drop-down menu and scale up so that you can work in a 1:1 ratio for presenting on screen in PDF. The 22x34 template was scaled to fit comfortably when printed in 11x17.
